What is the best cure for eczema? please help?

Hi I have had eczema for as long as i can remember and doctors have written me prescriptions for hydrocortizone from percentages 1% through 2.5% which they said was a lot. Well i have been using that every time it shows up and it doesn’t seem to help at all. I have been trying dermarest eczema to get rid of the itch but id really just like to know something that’ll help get rid of the itch and clear it up. My eczema shows up when im stressed, at the change of the seasons or just whenever and basically wherever i itch. Its such a pain and im only 19! I’ll be going to a wedding soon and im going to be standing up in it and would absolutely love to be eczema free and not have to worry about it showing up either. I *wish* there was a permanent cure for eczema but haven’t heard of anything yet. Please let me know if you know anything that could help me! Thank you so much!

The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I’ve turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use herbal remedies from serenaskin.com, which aim at the root of the disease – the immune system, and are steroid-free.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with anti-eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.

I have the same problem, i’m 17 and i get it pretty much as winter approaches and it goes away in the spring. I usually have it all up and down my arms.
So far i haven’t found a cure for it, but i did find finding a lotion with aloe in it really helps and applying it several times a day really helps keep it hydrated.

Good luck with finding a cure!

Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet (just google "natural treatment of eczema") – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and then they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: Champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work – it’s free.

I’ve tried a lot of medications before but haven’t really help. As a last resort i choose natural remedies. I found that it has the real power of curing my eczema. I’ve tried it and it really works for me, in less than one week you can already notice a lot improvement. I hope it helps you too.

There is a clinical trial at Duke Uni in the USA,( I wish people would say Where in the World they are. I am in the land of OZ.) for Alitretinoin for eczema, this is a retinoid, from vitamin A. You can try the UK treatment of bathing in weak bleach.
    Avoid Steriods
Try an elimination diet. Do Atkins for 2 weeks.
