What are some treatments for eczema?

I have very bad eczema and most recently it has spread to my hands. I have tried everything from aveeno to hydrocortisone mixtures and nothing helps. I’m afraid that it is now infected but I have no insurance to get it checked out. Please help me.

To be honest if you are suffering from bad eczema On your hands, you use your hands a lot for your daily work and probably get them wet a lot, or do something that involves constant irritation of your hands. When I was younger I worked at a starbucks that involved washing my hands constantly as well as having constant irritants on my skin (towels, grinds, etc).

The best thing you can do for your hands is this:

forget medical treatment. My guess is that since it is on your hands they are constantly exposed to stress and irritation like what I mentioned, so even the best steroid cream will just rub off and be useless. At work and home, wear sterile cotton gloves and before you put them on, slather your hands in Vaseline. I’m not even kidding. You need hydration more than anything else, but you also need a safe seal for your hands to correctly recover. If you have to shower simply remove the gloves and apply Vaseline again right after.

In a week or two, although it may seem odd, your hand eczema will be gone.

I’ve had eczema for 28 years and this is how I got rid of it on my hands. Seal it off and moisturize it and of course, don’t scratch. Change your sheets and clothes regularily so you aren’t tempted to itch because of the dead skin flakes all over :)

Steroid creams did not help me much either. I’ve cleared my eczema with serenaskin natural treatment. I was using eczema pack and results were great. This treatment provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.
