I just found out I have the same thing. Its horrible, makes you feel self conscious and its extremely itchy,
You have the exact same condition as me. Its called Dyshidrosis. AKA Pompholyx.
I have been using a barrier cream daily, applying straight after I wash my hands. Try Aqueous Cream. It’s unscented so won’t irritate
When having a shower make sure the waters warm/cool, not hot. Hot water dries it out even more.
Wash your hands in cool water, use an unscented soap
Avoid washing dishes, the washing up liquid will irritate it something shocking, this is how mine flared up
Wearing gloves is okay, but after a while your hands can’t breathe and it makes it worse
Also overnight make sure they are moisturised with low scent cream, such as Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, it has menthol to soothe
Don’t scratch, I’ve been doing all this and it has helped greatly, and its clearing up
Sorry for writing heaps, the little things are worth it, I’ll give you a website and now you know the name you can look for photo’s aswell
    =) xxx hope this helps

I have a Rx cream for eczema. I think it’s called Kenalog (I’m not at home right now so I can’t check) It really works for the itching. And I suggest that as the flu season approaches use hand sanitizer instead of soap and water to wash your hands. It’s just as effective and much less drying – I know I thought it would be more drying because of the alcohol content but I tried it over the soap and water and I stopped getting cracks in my hands so big they bled.

I have terrible problems with eczema. It’s so miserable! My best remedy has been 1% hydrocortisone cream. It seems to help dry it up a bit.

The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I’ve turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use herbal remedies from serenaskin.com, which aim at the root of the disease – the immune system, and are steroid-free.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with anti-eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.
