two toned skin..is there an at-home remedy?

i am an African american, 16yr old teen and my skin is extremely two toned. my face is light (i would be classified as light skinned), but my chest is more of a golden brown, my stomach and back are dark, and my legs are light again. btw, i do have eczema really bad.
i really want to bleach my skin, but i heard it was bad for the skin. is there anything i can do at home to help this problem or should i just go to a dermatologist?

Do not bleach your skin. That will make your issue much worse.

You may be allergic to something that you’re eating or putting on your skin, hair, or nails or something in your environment (laundry detergent, dish detergency, etc.). Try to avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes, and additives. Especially, skip anything with petroleum or petrolatum in it as they are guaranteed to irritate your skin.

Your best bet is to be as healthy as possible. If you’re healthy, your body is better able to handle almost anything. Eat right (add dark, leafy vegetables to your diet as they are really good for the skin), take a good multivitamin, drink plenty of water, and get some moderate exercise.

Use a glycerin soap for cleansing and pure, unrefined shea butter for moisturizing.

Becoming more healthy supports healthy skin from the inside out. Using shea butter will nourish and even your skin tone from the outside.

    Good luck!

Bleaching is harmful. Never do it. I think that it’s more of a dermatologist issue because you have eczema, you can’t use a lot of products people without eczema use, so you need to run it by the dermatologist first. So maybe you ask the dermatologist if there is anything out there for your issue and he’ll look into it.
