Cures For Eczema

my bf has extremely dry skin, and in the winter it gets really rough and cracks and he says it hurts sometimes. IS this eczema? What could I get him to help it?

hi, my friend has really dry skin on her face and I wanna help her out. I doubt she has psor…(how do you spell it? lol), or eczema because it doesn’t seem red, and she says it doesn’t itch. It’s just really tight, flaky, and dry. Anyone have any idea what it could be? And how she could treat it? I already told her she should go see a dermatologist, but she says they suck. lol. Her skin is affecting her social life too. Like,..she won’t go ANYWHERE in public with me, and if I invite her to go swimming, she won’t because water makes her skin worse. soooooooooooo yup. lol. ANY IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?

So I have really dry skin, so I thought maybe it’s eczema (i had that as a kid a couple times) but this is so random…a couple weeks ago i randomly got smaller white patches on my skin- not raised or itchy or anything just white…and i have gone to the tanning salon about 3 times in the past 2 months but i THINK i started getting them before i did that…and now it’s starting to spread more and more of my arms are have white patches…its only on my arms (lower and upper) i’ve read up on it and im not sure if its eczema or tinea versicolor or whatever- so i bought selsun blue and JUST started using it…although im not exactly sure how to us it on my skin… this is my second time leaving it on my arms- so im waiting for results.

anybody have an idea of what it may be? or how to treat it?

I’m 24 and I have small little bumps that are on the outside of my arm near the elbow (Both arms). If i dont itch, they look flesh colored. When I itch the skin turns red. They dont bother me and until recently I didnt notice them (about 2 weeks since i first noticed them). They itch and when i scratch them, they become red and itch more. my skin also becomes flakey. I think it may just be dry skin or eczema or something along those lines. Ive stopped itching them, but need to know how to treat them on my own and if that doesnt work ill just go to the doctors. Does anyone know if thats what this is? Also, what is the best over the counter lotion available for stuff like this?
