I have these crazy blisters on the palms of my hands and on my feet. They are inflamed, and if I pop them they grow back. My doctor has no idea, she says she doesn’t think it’s Dyshidrotic Eczema. She did a culture and it’s not a virus or bacteria, although I got this right after having strep throat. She had given me Azithromycin and Prednisone for the strep. I have a referral for a dermatologist, but I can’t get in for several days. Anyone know what this might be? How do I treat it at home to manage the symptoms?
No sarcastic or mean answers please. I already know how gross it is.
hi, my friend has really dry skin on her face and I wanna help her out. I doubt she has psor…(how do you spell it? lol), or eczema because it doesn’t seem red, and she says it doesn’t itch. It’s just really tight, flaky, and dry. Anyone have any idea what it could be? And how she could treat it? I already told her she should go see a dermatologist, but she says they suck. lol. Her skin is affecting her social life too. Like,..she won’t go ANYWHERE in public with me, and if I invite her to go swimming, she won’t because water makes her skin worse. soooooooooooo yup. lol. ANY IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?
I’ve had Atopic Dermatitis (some form of Eczema?) for a few years now and it’s really hurting my self-esteem, but my mom refuses to take me to a dermatologist and learn more about it and how to treat it. So..
I read in a lot of places that Atopic Dermatitis has no cure. Is this true? If it gets treated, is it at least not visible on the skin?
Is there a certain specific product that I should look into about treating this? How long will it take?
If I treat it, will I have to continue buying and using that product or can I keep it away by precautions in diet, moisturization, etc. etc. ?
Sorry about all the questions, but I’m really bad at using the internet and I don’t know anyone with this condition. Thanks in advance for your answers.
