Please. Personal woman question.?

Ok so this is a little personal but I really need help. Please don’t make rude comments. My vagina is itching and is swollen. Sorry for the grossness. I don’t have an STD or anything like that. I was tested a month ago and haven’t had sex since. I was researching and at first I thought I had a yeast infection. But then I read about vulvitis. Which I’m 97% positive that I have. Is there anyway to treat this without having to go to the doctor? I lost my job right after my last appt. and I don’t have insurance anymore and I can’t really afford it. I read that a low dose hydrocortisone cream is usually prescribed. If I have some left over from eczema can I use that? Any other home-remedies?
BTW I’m 22 if that matters.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Also I have every symtom of it I just didn’t want to list them all. They get kinda gross.
Also is there anyway I can stop the itching?

    give it a shot!
if it dont work, go to ur community health centre for treatment – there usually little or no cost, but you may have to wait a bit

you can probably find the vulvitis cream at a pharmacy or GNC.

It never makes sense to try to self-diagnose and treat something that requires a prescription.

If you can’t afford a doctor, call your local health department for referral to a free or subsidized clinic.

    you could try these ideas..

Dip tampon in plain yogurt. Let it into the vagina twice a day until your symptoms disappear. Lactobacilus acidophilus is the active ingredient in yogurt that destructs the yeast.

Mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 cups of plain water, and 1 clove of garlic. Let it rest for some time and you can shower with this combination.

Repeatedly cleaning with apple cider vinegar gives relief. Use water to dilute the vinegar concentration if you are feeling itchy.

Use fresh garlic paste directly if you have yeast infection in another part of the body
