home remedies & tips or cures for eczema?

Okay I have always had stubborn skin always had eczema&allergies since I can remember.I usually always get my worst eczema on my legs or behind knees and behind my elbows and i get itchy on my face to and lips.I currently have big nasty rashes on my legs and a little one behind my elbow that puss it is gross I know.I hae been to the doctor and use prescription cream called tricinilone or something it works wonders for a little while but the effectiveness goes away. The itching is so intense it is very bothersome and I don’t use benadryl either because it makes me drowsy.I have been to the doctor and the dermatologists several of times for this so yeah.Anyways are there any cures or tips or remedies for this.oh and any people with tattoos with this condition Iam just wondering because Iam thinking about getting tattoos in the future.
thanks

Unfortunately, there’s no "cure" for eczema. The best thing you can do is try to prevent it before it gets too bad. My boyfriend has moderate/severe eczema… Here are a few things we do:

-Wash all clothes, linens, and towels in a gentle laundry detergent, like "All Free & Clear"
-Use a gentle cleanser, like Dove’s Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar
-Use warm (never hot) water when showering/bathing
-Wear cotton clothing as much as possible (it’s the most breathable)
-Use a humidifier in your bedroom, especially during the winter months when the air is dry
    -Drink lots of water
-Consider taking Omega-3 fish oil supplements (some studies have shown it may help reduce the severity of eczema)

My cousins both have eczema and they always put corn starch on the affected area to stop the itching.

Tips for managing your skin to reduce the risk of flare of your eczema:
Use tepid water instead of hot water to shower.
Moisturize daily at least once daily especially in areas you have trouble like the skin folds.
Avoid soap to the areas of rash, warm water is fine.
Some of the better moisturizers are Cetaphil, CeraVe and Eucerin always use the cream forms
If the triamcinolone works use it when you flare despite the above recommendations
If the triamcinolone doesn’t work go back to the dermatologist as you may have a bacterial infection of the skin.
There are non steroid treatments to prevent or reduce flares if you flare often.
See the website of the Eczema Association.
If your skin is clear at the time, the tattoo should be no problem. You are at greater risk for infection because of the eczema.

Try Skin Repair by Suuthe by Mari. It’s all natural- you could literally eat it. The product was born from a mother’s need to heal her baby’s horrible case of eczema. Now her boy is eczema free.

See this video about the skin healing cream and how it came to be- very inspirational. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=889516684488

Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments for eczema from the Internet – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work for you – it’s free.
