eczema under eye? what to do?

i have a tiny patch of dry skin under my eye. went to the dermotologist for it about 2 months ago because it scared me! she gave me some medicine which i took for a few weeks, and it seemed completely gone. it has been a few weeks and now it is back, though not as dry as before. it looks like a little patch of dry, but i’ve tried everything (lotion, vaseline) and it’s not going anyway.

any home remedies or should i go back to the doctor? thanks

Go back to the doctor or even get a second opinion if you feel inclined. Because of how close this patch is to your eye, you might not be able to use just any old moisturizer. You need a cream or lotion that is safe to use near the eyes.

I had a similar situation and it turned out it was because of the nail polish I was using. Have you recently started using any different makeups, hand lotions, nail polishes, or other products that would come in contact with your eyes? Just a thought.

You can’t cure eczema you can only treat it so if the medicine that your doc gave you worked, then use it on an as needed basis.
