i dont have a recent picture, but if u look at her chest and face u could see her eczema my question is that she is a dark baby and because of her eczema she has patches of her face and body that are white, its alot lighter now than in the picture so when the eczema clears up will she regain her color or will she always have white patches.

First of all, beautiful baby!! My cousin’s daughter had the same thing and most of the color came back on her face. There are a couple of spots on her body that are a little lighter, but you have to look really hard to tell. Again, very beautiful little girl. God Bless!

My daughter has the samething. Her face went back to normal after the eczema cleared. Now she has it all on her arms.

Aw, she is cute. When eczema gets to a certain point permenant skin discoloration can occur. The discoloration isn’t so much from the eczema as from the steriod cream that is usually used to treat it. To make sure that you don’t furthur any natural discoloration that may happen make sure that the cream your doctor prescribes doesn’t conatin benzoyle proxide. That is the culprit ingrediant!

my baby and i have eczema i have it worst then my daughter. to answer you question sometimes. my patches have stayed they’ve been here since i was a child i have none on my face only on my legs (which i hate) but my daughter’s have completely disappeared she is also a dark baby but hers has went anyway. i used this oil precirbed by her doc called derma smoothe and it worked wonders i think you should try it. because what is giving your baby the light spot is probably the cream they give her because it has steroids in it. i hope this helps
